  • customer service

Does anybody realize how important customer service is?

Think of the waitress in Texas who gave such good service to her

patrons one man gave her a thorough-bred horse.

Think of the times you go into a department store looking for

one measly thing and everybody ignores you. You get so fustrated,

you get irritated, and you can't wait to get out.

I had a great experience in a store last night.

I was looking for one dressy black blouse.

The lady greeted me at the door and immediately took me to it.

    Saved me hours of time.

I was so impressed, I bought two.

    Customer Service.

  • summer

so it's summer. I can't tell you how much I don't like summer.

I don't know what it is about it, I like winter better when people

come home and stay in the house and read, and don't go around

the beaches having fun. Isn' t that weird? I really like it when

it gets dark out early and we can stay in and think about things.

Something about summer screams, "Have fun! have fun!" but what

if you're not having fun? what if you have to do hard things, go to

a hard job, take care of sick child, etc...

anyway, these are just my thoughts..

    come winter.....

  • dog

So we have a new dog in the house named Bertrand. At times he

can be so annoying, following you everywhere, jumping into bed

and going under the covers to bite your toes, but actually, when all is

said and done, I think he has a quiet spirit.

I think dogs have some sixth sense of loyalty. It is amazing how happy

they are when you take them out and they can bark at other dogs and

growl and find bones to pick.

In a way, it is like having a baby, but I think dogs have their special place

    in mother nature's kingdom.

I just escaped the dog and came to work but I hope everyone has a good day

  • homeless man

Yesterday and today a homeless man is walking around

our library. He unfortunately has not taken a bath in a long time,

    and frankly, smells like horses.

    I feel sorry for him.

Our director took him outside yesterday and gave him some

money because he said he was hungry... today he is asking me

if I can cash a $9,000 check. I said I'd think about it.

    Let's count our blessings!
